Been a few days since I did a post about my finds and sales. Since the last time I posted I haven't done much thrifting or buying for that matter as I am working on getting some of the pending sales to be able to buy more inventory.
One thing about starting a new eBay or marketplace store is having enough inventory and capital to ship, hold, and wait on payments to clear. So the best is to use what you have.
In this post, I am going to show off a few more things I have found around the house and a couple of other things.
When it comes to pokemon cards we know they are or can be worth quite a bit of money, I have been buying them off and on and mostly my kid just plays with them and ruins most🤣.
Going through I have actually found they have quite a few foils, When it comes to pokemon cards or any trading card for that matter they are massively produced so even rares are not that rare.
Most of the wanted cards are foil, special edition, and limited-run promo cards. The other cards that can retain value are the ones that predate 2005 but even better are pre-2000 cards.
Back to going through the old cards, I was actually able to find some worthy cards, now had they not been in played with condition with white outside or bends this first Charmander is actually a $1000 graded card.
Sadly it does have bends so I have listed it in auction for 15.88 start. After auction, I'll put it up for buy now.
I was actually able to find about 20 foil or reverse Holo and that includes an older ninetails reverse Holo, This one is actually in ok shape but only sells for about $3 CDN.
The next item is actually another trading card, this one is an old-school NHL rookie card. When it comes to sports I try to stay away, everything is massively produced and mostly worthless but the odd thing like a rookie card can hold a small value.
So in our bin with old 90s baseball and other cards, I found a mint in plastic ED Belfour 1991-1992 Topps card.
So not worth a lot it has a value of about $2 but most cards are worth less than a penny so a free find is good.

The last thing is not something I had around but a nice score I got off the Facebook marketplace. I am still not sure if I am going to list this or give to my son. This powered Lego boat is epic, it has a fully working boat. I was able to get this sealed box for $50 CDN but has a resale value of around $150-300 CDN.
With that my box has a lot of damage, not damage in it being opened but damage in the sense the box has been crushed in the center so it bent the sides.
This lowers the value, a lot actually collectors want undamaged people opening to build don't care. If I do list this I think I will list around $100-120 so still double but not the $250 score I hoped for.
Outside of that I mainly picked up some other sealed games and movies from auction and local to flip.
In the last post I showed some of the items I got in the auction, so I thought at the end of these posts I'll report if I have sold anything and lucky last night I got an auto offer on the apple ear pods with lightning cable. They were listed at 13.88 each and u sold both for $10 each, so after my buys price and eBay fees I profit around $10. This is nothing crazy but is profits and when reselling small profit is profit.
The last thing is now I have started to post items to other marketplaces and not just list to eBay, I have Facebook market place and now hivelisit is getting added, yes starting today my none auction items will get cross-posted to hivelst and they will offer a 5% discount.
