This is a follow up from my last post where I document my plan for this account.
Basically, I have 4154.599 Hive and I need a decision whether to sell them to put into HBD savings now, or do something else with it.
Let me think aloud.
As I already have some HBD in savings, the graph below shows that the difference is about $4,334 in 6 years if I don't convert this 4515.599 Hive and it goes to zero. This is taking into account the lost in interest and the principal sum.
Now, if in a year, Hive goes to $0.80, and I sell them all and put into HBD Savings. I would yield around $22,000 instead of $17,000 at the end of 6 years.
In the last scenario, what if Hive goes to $3.00 by a year? It will mean that the liquid Hive that I have will 10X. Putting them back in savings will yield a savings end outcome of $45,000!
After these comparisons, the worst case scenario is that I can still get back $12,000 in savings. That is some doubling of investment.
If I were to be conservative and place a sell order at 0.8 cents for Hive, the end outcome could be $22,000, i.e. $10,000 more. Honestly, 0.8 cents is very likely within a year.
On the other hand, $3.00 Hive is a far shot. Not impossible, but a far shot. But who knows, Hive could well be stable at $10 in 6 years and I will be crying.
Decision time. The lost, the downside, is $4,334, if I lose everything with the liquid Hive that I have now.
So my game plan is to trade to yield $4,334 as soon as I can to put it in the Savings. The rest will be considered as bonus should Hive price goes to the moon.
