Spinvest-Leo update 26 - Still profitable (just). Mining rate change again :-(

Welcome to this weeks update on the Hive account@spinvest-leo account. Times continue to be most unfavourable to us, with Tribe tokens still at low and decreasing price levels. My thinking now is that this will persist for a while, until some certainty returns to Steem. Justin Sun came swinging in to Steem on his wrecking ball, and the fallout has hit our investments and program.

With all that said, we STILL made a profit. Once again the value of the assets fell.

Summary:

• Tiny 2.8 STEEM profit
• Had to sell almost all this weeks token earnings to break even.
• Token income was ok, but couldn't grow the base due to sales.
• Steemauto downtime also hurt this weeks totals. Some impact also in the week ahead.

Payout rate change.

• From today, I will adjust the payout rate again to 1 SPI per 1200 LEO delegated (proportionally).
• Unavoidable at current LEO price levels.

Good news:

• Hive account@metzli is keen to write up a weekly report for Hive account@spinvest on an off chain investment. This should give our income a little boost - details to be confirmed.
• We survived another week.

So this week ends the 1 per 1000 rate and from next payout the new calculation will be 1 SPI per 1,200 LEO delegated. Remember the days when we made 100 STEEM profit 2 weeks running - Hopefully we return to those days again soon. Till then I'll have to keep on top of this to ensure we remain viable.

If you have not heard of Hive account@spinvest-leo before, what we do is accept delegations of LEO power, and pay a weekly passive return with SPI (spinvest) tokens. The return is calculated on 1 SPI per 1000 LEO delegated per week (adjusted from today) Any amount over 10 LEO can be delegated, for a weekly payout. The asset base we are building here from surplus earnings above the mining payouts are added to the Spinvest asset base, increasing the value of the tokens you earn. We have branched out our voting and are earning curation income across a growing list of tribes.

Thanks to everyone supporting this program, especially the delegators. Don't forget, when making a delegation, please DO NOT put the @ sign in, it could cause Hard Fork 27.1 (???). (or at least the delegation doesn't work). ;-)
