These tokens have a tasty 0.60ozt silver center surrounded by a ring of brass. When I take them out of the airtite to photograph them I can hear the center piece rattle around inside that brass.
All the tokens I will be showing are a $10 value at the casino cage but they sell for well over $20 on the open market. I wonder if folks actually cashed these in for a crisp 10 dollar bill at the casino?
Today we will view a token fron the Palms Casino Resort, which opened on November 15, 2001. This is while I was living there and I can say that, at the time, this casino was super popular!
I remember a night I was at this casino (maybe the night I won't this token) and the line to get into the night club wove through the casino. Now, I'm in the casino and looking at the line and I see a an employee pushing a cocktail cart along the line selling beer and liquor to the people waiting in line!
