I was reading a message circulating on telegram and Discord channels that Ampleforth was offering an airdrop to anyone that had Ampleforth coins in their wallets.
I was a little curious but not excited as I have never trusted shitcoins or airdrops, but man, this one made me curious, as I had 4 Ampleforth coins in my wallet.
I used the link in Bill’s post and claimed 39 Forth Tokens. I was a little hesitant when they asked for a gas fee, but I took the risk and paid the fee.
At that point in time, that transaction was worth $25 on Ethereum and the value of the coin was 1.38. I was getting 39 coins. I still stood to gain something even if $25. Fine...I thought 39.30 Ampleforth multiplied by 1.38 would equal $54+. I thought, let me do it.
I claimed 39 Ampleforth, checked the transaction hashtag on etherscan, and went to sleep. But it did not come to my wallet, so I thought I had lost 25 dollars again. But then I was expecting Ampleforth, and I already had a couple of them in my wallet, so I kept looking at my wallet for the next 3-4 days... still no tokens.
But after 4 days of waiting, I added Ampleforth Governance to my wallet list, and, lo and behold, it worked. I found $1500 in my wallet balance as 39.3 Ampleforth Governance tokens added to my wallet.
So I suggest you go, go, go. If you ever dealt with Ampleforth and you had a couple of Ampleforth tokens in your wallet or before March 30th in your wallet, you are eligible to claim them.
