It is Thursday and that means that it is time for one of my designated X reports.
X as in what was formerly known as Twitter.
Today is actually St Andrew's Day 🏴
Web2 they aren't your accounts, when will people learn!
The next round of socialfi spamming is up and running and after dabbling in it for a day I am pulling out.
This time it involves you earning points for posting posts with 
I mentioned that today is St Andrew's Day. A public holiday in Scotland.
However I have never known anyone have a day off work apart bank workers!
I shall make a separate post about it, I did post on X first thing tho.
It seems every week I am not reporting on someone losing their account on web 2...
Today I was engaging with someone a couple of days ago. A scottish actor called Scott Kyle...
He posted this today ...
It does highlight the problem we in web3 have. I believe in it and you believe in it, but for the masses the broad appeal is not there yet. We don't have the numbers.
Take Scott he is promoting his stage show tour. On Hive we maybe have a couple hundred Brits we just don't have the audience yet to convince people to spend their time here.
Fluff Web2 say no more, you want your own account then get on Web3!
I can still see a concerted effort from so many people getting the Hive name known on X and other web2 media. A big pat on your back if you are one of those people.
IT IS WORKING .... We are onboarding influencers and more users, the new Marketing campaign has kicked off, let's see that make a difference.
You would have perhaps guessed by the title that this post is about X (formerly Twitter).
This is the sixth episode that I have been showing my stats. I shall be reporting my findings and progress.

My goals for X are twofold:
1 Become monetized
2 Spread the Hive word and onboard users

So I have been slowly removing users I have been following that either don't engage or we are not aligned.
My followers count increased by 14, actually it was more, because X are still suspending accounts left right and centre, and those get removed from your following.
To become monetized you need to do these 3 things:
✔️ Subscribe to Premium or Verified Organizations
❌ Have at least 5M impressions on your posts within the last 3 months
✔️ 500 followers
I have the easy bits sorted lol!

You can see more green this week. I lost my Xojo after I my reach got crippled, so slowly I keep trying things.
There are over 30 ways your account can be limited, I have fallen foul of one of them, although I am not sure of which.
Let's have a look at my impressions...
Note it says 5M impressions on your posts within the last 3 months
My last three months' chart for impressions....
So I have 2.4 million (last week was 2.2 million) impressions for the last three months. Oh fluff me, I am well short lol
My reach has gone, the impressions from my comments have gone,
I have had my account limited in someway, I don't know how or what but NO Surrender ....
I am determined to persevere... FOR THE MOMENT
I had a purple patch where I could comment and get thousands of impressions, that is keeping my totals up. But I am running out of weeks if I want to monetised.
Chasing impressions on X is not my idea of fun, it is time consuming and taking me away from Hive.
However I have been on Rangers twitter for years although mostly reading now I engage that gets my impressions up.
The good news is we have 6 games in December, ridiculous but it means many chances to get impressions up.
Finding a balance between X Hive and RL is quite complex at the moment.
In the meantime I shall be aiming to follow some X strategies we have devised with some other members of INLEO. Can people work as a team? We shall find out!
But if anyone wants to Team up to try and crack X please do let me know!
