I hope you are all having a great Saturday so far. Can you believe it's almost the end of the year?... Today so far so good for me here, I've been a little sick this week but this morning I still dragged myself out to a couple of garage sales not too far from here. Unfortunately, no goodies came home with me, I think the very early birds bought the nice stuff. I was a little slow this morning, next week I'll be back on my game though!
Well, another weekend and Bitcoin is still crab walking along. I keep hoping to check out the prices to see a nice push toward $95,000, but so far no luck. We really can't complain all that much I suppose, in that it could be at $65,000 or worse. So there is something to be thankful. How long will this all last in the current holding pattern? Who knows? I've given up predicting anything at this point!

Hive is above ten cents, that's some good news. It's not had a great week, but is currently at around $0.105. I don't see Hive prices improving much though, that is until the inflation caused by the excessive DHF spending is brought under control. But I am really missing the days of $0.60 Hive from earlier this year, it feels like century ago now!
I think as long as we stay over nine cents we are doing pretty well for the time being. As thrilled as I would be with $0.15 I think it might be a long time coming!

Now moving onto my Hive Goals for the year, and my current thoughts on some second layer tokens. Last but not least I'll go over those gold and silver charts, saving the best for last!
Hive Power
I did meet my goal of reaching 10,000 HP this year sometime back, and I was thrilled. I am calling it a year on Hive Power for now, but next year I will be making some bigger plans. I was trying for some higher results but life's curveballs of some unexpected medical expenses have forced me to sell off some crypto. I decided to do the trim all around from the all rather than one big cut from one, so I'm powering down some Hive to finish paying out those bills before next year. Life is expensive sometimes!
Hive Power Goal 10,000 HP: 100% Complete
I have been a little down on my Hive Engine token purchases as of late. I have sold off many that I felt were no longer relevant to my investment strategy. But I'll cover a few things I continue to hold onto in the next sections.
PIMP
My secondary goal on the year was to stack up 50,000 PIMP tokens, which I did sometime back when the price was favorable. I currently hold just over 62,000 PIMP and am slowly picking up more on the road toward 100,000. It's a great token with a great community, plus it is run by a very reliable guy here on Hive in 
I started to offer these as a prize as well in the Shadow Hunters contest each week. The contest is run by

I am continuing to delegate to EDSI to earn EDSI tokens every week. I also continue to hold onto my DBOND and DAB tokens. I'm continue to hold onto my PAKX which I feel is a very solid project as well, and provides me with two tip call a day which I enjoy. I do delegate to Leo to earn some LEO tokens, I'm stacking them up for now as they do have a deflationary model now. Hopefully it pays off down the line. And of course, I continue to pick up some more DUO tokens on a regular basis, and it's my favorite token of them all! It pays daily dividends, allows tipping, and curations on quality posts.
Gold and TGLD
Gold continues to hold on at about $4,200 per Troy ounce, not too bad considering I remember buying some back in the late 2000's on a dip to $700. Ah, the good old days! Gold is a safe haven asset that people are going to continue to buy as the world gets messier. Lately it feels like it's only messier by the day, which is why I believe in holding gold in your portfolio. Gold is real money in your hand, and has been throughout recorded history...
I did invest in TGLD in the first day of the presale to lock in the 17% APR they offered. Every day like clockwork I am getting my HBD payments and I couldn't be happier. I understand those who bought on Base continue to see those payments in USDC, I however did not invest there! I bought my tokens at 30 Hive each and they are now trending 34-36 Hive each. As the price of gold increases and the price of SPDR GLD fund (to which TGLD is pegged) subsequently climbs it should be interesting to see how token prices evolve. Right now if you buy and stake TGLD the APR is 5%. Not as good as the presale but still a solid APR.
Silver
If gold is a little too rich for your wallet I say buy silver. I have since I was young and it's one of the best investments I ever could have made. It is also real money and has been for eons, and will always have value when fiat doesn't. Right now the price is $58.27 per Troy ounce, but I'm expecting some higher highs before long. Silver is undervalued and can't be refined as fast as it's selling. Invest in silver, always a smart move!
