It's Olympic season, we're all excited but hang on, let's to money first before pleasure.
It's only few things in life that are as complicated as managing money. It doesn't mean throw in the freaking towel and mismanage your income, at least be aware of what you can do to make it work well in your life.
It ain't just about investing, real life is more complicated. Do you use credit card? How do you even find the best ones. They advice against loans but there are times where you need to leverage on a loan.
Now when you take crypto loans and it goes south, how do you come out of that kind of debt or you just dig a grave an bury yourself. You won't have peace of mind when you're in debt. Peace of mind essentially requires insurance. Life, homeowners’ renters’, car, and travel insurances can cover unexpected happenings. But lots of insurance companies are almost useless and it's mainly about taking from you rather than insuring you.
The only recommendations I can give to keep finance a bit stable is to use budgeting applications and expense trackers
For those running small businesses, it is important to find appropriate business accounts, credit cards, loans and tax software to smoothen your day to day operations. Do you even know where to start from? I hope the answer is yes or you certainly need a tutor.
Don't even get me started with taxes. There are certain credit cards for people with very low credit scores that come with personal loans or mortgages meant to help them rebuild. It's great but very tricky of you do get it right.
Another important thing is investing. We hear a lot about investing but the question is what should you invest in. Even if you have the discipline to delay gratification, you still need the right investment.
At the top of my head if anyone asks me about what to invest in I'll say I just found Hive and they have a stable Crypto called HBD and keeping your money in their savings yields 20 percent per year. Why aren't people going crazy about that. Maybe it's just not popular yet.
Ok now let's talk about the Olympics and I'm not going to mention the controversy of what happened with the symbolism of last supper that got everyone talking about it.
This year’s Paris Olympics is a good example that shows how athletes get rewarded for their efforts. Hong Kong and Singapore among other countries offered huge financial bonuses to their medal winners. The rewards can at times include vehicles, homes and lifelong pensions. Damn, I wish I was athletic.
Nevertheless, even though money is not given by all nations as prizes, many of them commend these sportsmen’s commitment and accomplishments in special and exceptional approaches.
I hope the athletes use the rewards wisely.
