There is something crazy about the African folklore and stories that we used to hear. Just when I went out today, I got to know that everybody has to come inside by 9 p.m. in the evening. And the reason is simple.
It's because they're expecting the ritual to be performed in town. So everywhere is kind of quiet and and it's kind of crazy. But that's not even the craziest part of it.
The craziest part of all this thing is that people are already in there. Everybody is quiet already because of what is going to happen. It begs for some questions.
Okay, so with the advent of Christianity in this state and in this country, does that mean that Christianity has not wiped out some rituals? Are some rituals so hard that there is no amount of Christianity, civilization to wipe them off? Also, what does this ritual actually tends to benefit us as a person? Because I've come to know that no matter how many rituals that we did, no matter how religious that we proved to be, there are just some problems that doesn't go away and they still live with us. So what is this ritual solving? Is there anybody who cares to tell us? Maybe they are going to make a declaration that oh we are doing this ritual and we are going to do this. Everybody should stay inside blah blah blah and the ritual is supposed to do this.
It will do this and we are sure that by the time we wake up tomorrow morning, we are seeing the effect of the ritual that we are actually going into. But now there is nothing like that. There is just yearly ritual.
Just everybody should stay inside. Just don't go out. Everyone is scared kind of a thing.
There is no communication anywhere. So we are left with that and we are all have no choice to live with that. Tomorrow morning, the entire people are going to church.
Everybody will keep praying and praising whereas a ritual has already been done on the street and nobody could stand up to it, stand against it, proclaim the word of God against it and pull every stronghold down. No one is going to do that. Everybody is going to live tomorrow as if it is a normal day and that will be so interesting as a day on this earth.
