2 months have passed
since I stumbled upon the "hidden" cycle of the blood moon. It has been so accurate for the entirety of BTC's history that I simply can't dismiss it. Just have a look at the last 10 years again; the green boxes do not have anything to do with the bull runs, they are the pauses between the onset of the next blood moon set (usually they come in pairs). The fact that they coincide with the bull runs is why they are so interesting.
As you can see, the last set of the blood moons was in early March. Since then it has been two months of green, in spite of virtually everyone predicting BTC going lower. I don't see anyone proclaiming BTC going back to 30-40k as we saw in early of 2026. Here is another close up:
A perfect bottom so to speak. Two things to point out:
If this was indeed the bottom, it has been much shorter than previous bear markets. It hasn't even been half a year from which we saw BTC dropping from 124k to 59k. Also, the blood moon indicator already signaled a bear phase in early 2025 - which is a bit early like in previous cycles. The bull phases have all been much more accurate so far.
If we are indeed in another bull market now, it is expected to be much more extended as previous ones lasting almost 3 years! If so, we can expect the next peak be just after the 4 year halving (like always). $1 million would actually be on the table.
Conclusion
Yes, it is still a bit early to declare the blook moon cycle a definitive success yet again. But we have already seen an unexpected turn since March in which prices have so far risen in times of geopolitical turmoil and previous bear markets suggesting many more months of price pressure. But this would also fit into the narrative of an under performing bull cycle in 2025 and therefore a corresponding weak bear market.
