It’s that time again!
What time?
NFT Time!!
Can you feel the excitement? Come along my journey with me. Today I’m showing something I found, have bought NFTs for, and have been trying out.
One thing you will learn about me is that I love games. So, I’ve definitely taken to the whole NFT P2E (Play To Earn) thing.
I’m sure you can guess by the picture, the type of game this is. In case not, it’s a zombie outbreak/survival type of game. It has just recently launched so it’s still in its infancy, but it wasn’t overly expensive to get in on the floor of this thing, less than $100, so I figured I’d try it out.
This time around, since it’s my second (and not near the last) NFT based post, I won’t include the definition of NFT. If you’d like a quick refresher or lesson and don’t want to google it, check out my first post here.

Here we go!
The game I’m playing today is…
This P2E game is played on the WAX blockchain. You can purchase the necessary NFTs on Atomic Hub. Keep in mind to always double and/or triple check the legitimacy of the collection of NFTs you are purchasing. I always suggest checking their social channels for official links, such as the projects twitter account and discord server.
Right now the only available mode of gameplay is Supply Runs. It’s not bad. All you do is setup a supply run by choosing a survivor, a weapon, a shield, and the duration. The longer you choose, the more likely you’ll scavenge better finds (weapons, etc). You will scavenge food on your runs as well which you will use to heal your survivor. Your survivor must be at a certain health or above in order to be deployed for a supply run.
This can be thought of as a “set it and forget it” type of game in a sense as the longer runs can take days. If you’ve deployed all available survivors, then there’s nothing you can do until their runs are over and you claim the supplies.
One of the things I really like about this game though, is that your NFTs are not burned to be used only inside the game. Meaning, when I have an NFT, if I get bored of the game, or I procure better weapons and shields, or make any decision that I want to sell these items, I sell it on the WAX marketplace, which means I’m not held hostage to an in-game marketplace or in-game currency valuation. I scavenge (or earn) NFTs and once claimed, they show up in my inventory. I can then choose to sell those on the marketplace right away if I choose to.
Why did I buy some NFTs for the game above?
- I was intrigued by the thought of a zombie game.
- I love P2E games.
- I had some extra WAX.
- I was super early, and I wanted to see how the projects roadmap performed.
As I mentioned, this game is still in its infancy, but it seems pretty cool so far. I’m playing, when I remember when my supply runs end, and will keep watching for additional features and ongoing improvements.
I hoped you enjoyed reading this. Thanks for checking me out.
Do you own any NFTs?
Do you play any P2E games?
Feel free to share if you do, if you don’t, why, why not, or any other details that are fun.
Until next time.
