When I started blogging again in Hive 2 months ago I told myself that I will be writing again for a few reasons.
To practice writing again both English and Tagalog. Aside from the usual collection emails and demand letters that I am sending to customers I haven't write anything anymore.
Hopefully create a portfolio that I can use when applying for a job as a freelancer. Last March, I bought a domain and build a website from scratch oli-writes.com but as of this date, it remains blank, no post, and untouched still.
Increase my savings even for a little amount as we are planning to get a house in the future. This is a long-term goal as we know that the price of cryptocurrency is volatile and one day these coins may be worth more than what I am expecting or the other way around.
Try my luck in investing in cryptocurrency again. Sometime in 2017 before knowing steemit and other cryptocurrencies my wife and I were informed about a website wherein we can invest our BTC and after 90 days we would be able to withdraw the funds promising that it would be doubled. We are thrilled when we joined the said website as it was recommended by one of our friends and they are also doing some outreach events here in the Philippines. I didn't even care to look for the legalities of the website etc. at that time and I can say that it was one of the most regretful decision that we did. That time, BTC price was low around that time the price of 1 BTC was just $2,000.00
To stop my friends from pestering me to be active again. I made amazing friends on this platform and some of them even helped me out on preparing for my engagement proposal.
Inspired by the blogpost from 
Achieve 5,000 Hive Power in the next 5 months timespan in Hive. To accomplish the goal set I will be doing the following. Try to create a post daily and engage with other people in Hive/Leo/Peakd and it's other condensers available.
Aside from the ones mentioned above, I will be adding some spare money that I have and stake it increasing my Hivepower little by little.
Learn to efficiently trade Hive to other altcoins in LeoDex I will not trade in any other market aside from this one as I find Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex too technical for me and I am too lazy to log-in to those sites. I will just focus on Hive and it's condensers.
Delegate my Hive Power to folks who are offering returns on the delegation provided for passive income. As I am not that active yet, this will help me increase my HP a little.
As of writing here are my stats.
Looking at the image above, I have around 2,400.00 HP on my wallet. Almost half of my goal already if it is 5,000.00 HP I might be able to achieve the goal sooner than expected as the price of Hive fluctuates this time. As an investor in this scenario, it is an opportunity for me to buy some if I have some cash to spare as I can buy it at a lower price. Also, since I will not be withdrawing it anytime soon this would be a win situation for me.
I just joined the Hive Power-up day and today I powered-up 93.14 Hive and they are also accounted in the HP that I have accumulated already which makes me glad.
Every Saturday, I will be creating a post showing my status and how near I am to my goal. Once achieved, I will be working with a new goal to achieve.
