Heute am 30. Juni 2021 um 14:00 UTC wird der nächste Hive Hardfork 25 aktiviert. Das sind die 5 wichtigsten Änderungen:
#1 Das 5-Minuten-Zeitfenster für Curation Rewards entfällt
Die Curation-Reward-Berechnung wird sich mit dem HF25 stark ändern. Es entfällt die 5-Minuten-Reverse-Auction. Damit ist es in den ersten 24 Stunden egal, wann man votet. Danach sinkt der Curation Reward um die Hälfte (24-72 Stunden) und danach auf 1/8.
Durch diese Änderung ist der Zeitpunkt, wann man votet, in den ersten 24 Stunden nicht mehr relevant, was Chancengleichheit mit Bots herstellt. In der Vergangenheit haben Bots manuelle Voter übervorteilt, weil sie eher den optimalen Zeitpunkt treffen konnten.
#2 HIVE kann nun auch zu HBD konvertiert werden
Diese Konversion hat in der Vergangenheit gefehlt, was zur Konsequenz hatte, dass HBD in einem Bullenmarkt weit über $1 steigen konnte. Mit der Konversion in beide Richtungen sollte sich HBD in Zukunft auf Kosten oder zu Gunsten von HIVE besser stabilisieren lassen.
In einem Bärenmarkt erzeugt HBD eine zusätzlich Inflation von HIVE, in einem Bullenmarkt sogar eine Deflation.
#3 HBD-Zinsen nur für HBD auf dem Sparkonto (DeFi-Feature)
Mit dem HF25 wird man in Zukunft nur noch Zinsen auf HBD bekommen, wenn man diese auf das Sparkonto (Savings) transferiert. Damit wird ein zusätzliches Incentive geschaffen, HBD zu staken.
#4 Witness und Proposal-Votes verfallen nach einem Jahr Inaktivität
Damit soll die Witness-Wahl dynamischer werden und User motiviert werden, ab und zu die Witness-Votes zu überprüfen.
#5 Periodische Zahlungen für Abos
Mit dem HF25 wird es möglich werden, periodische Zahlungen für Abos/Communities zu implementieren. Zum Beispiel könnten geschlossene Communities einen monatlichen Mitgliedsbeitrag einführen gegen exklusiven Content. Dieses Feature müsste aber von den Front-Ends erst implementiert werden.
Was NICHT verändert wird: Anscheinend bleibt die Autoren-Reward-Kurve NICHT-linear?!
Unklar ist für mich, ob, wie beiläufig in einem Kommentar von 
So wie es aussieht, wird dies anscheinend doch nicht passieren bzw. habe ich die Änderung im Changelog auf gitlab nicht gefunden.
Auch in den Ankündigungen findet sich kein Wort mehr zur Reward-Kurve, obwohl dies eines der am hitzigsten diskutierten Themen war und ist. Davon hängt letztendlich die Rewards für Posts und Kommentare ab.
Was sagt ihr zum HF25? Drückt die Daumen, dass das Upgrade diesmal glatt verläuft.

Today on June 30th, 2021 at 14:00 UTC, the next Hive Hardfork 25 will be activated. These are the 5 most important changes:
#1 The 5-minute window for Curation Rewards will be eliminated
The Curation Reward calculation will change significantly with HF25. It eliminates the 5-minute reverse auction. This means that for the first 24 hours, it doesn't matter anymore when you vote. After that, the Curation Reward will drop by half (24-72 hours) and then to 1/8.
With this change, when you vote is no longer relevant in the first 24 hours, leveling the playing field with bots. In the past, bots have outperformed manual voters because they were more likely to hit the optimal voting time.
#2 HIVE can now also be converted to HBD
This conversion has been missing in the past, resulting in HBD rising well above $1 in a bull market. With conversion in both directions, HBD should stabilize better in the future at the expense or in favor of HIVE.
In a bear market, HBD creates additional HIVE inflation, and in a bull market it even creates deflation.
#3 HBD interest only for HBD in savings account (DeFi Feature)
With the HF25, in the future you will only get interest on HBD if you transfer it to the savings account. This will create an additional incentive to stak HBD.
#4 Witness and Proposal votes expire after one year of inactivity
This is intended to make the Witness vote more dynamic and motivate users to check Witness votes from time to time.
#5 Periodic payments for subscriptions
With HF25, it will become possible to implement periodic payments for subscriptions/communities. For example, closed communities could implement a monthly membership fee in exchange for exclusive content. However, this feature would need to be implemented by the front ends first.
What is NOT being changed: Apparently the author reward curve remains NON-linear?!

As it looks, this apparently won't happen after all or I didn't find the change in the changelog on gitlab.
Also in the announcements there is no word about the reward curve anymore, although this was and is one of the most hotly debated topics. In the end, the rewards for posts and comments depend on the curve.
What do you guys say about HF25? Fingers crossed that the upgrade will go smoothly this time.
