Amother day, another one bites the dust!
A Montenegran court has approved the extradition of $LUNA founder: Do Kwon to either the USA or South Korea. You can find the official press release here
The Montenegran Justice minister will have the final say in which country our dear Do Kwon will be extradited to.
As a reminder:
Kwon was arrested in the country in March after being caught in Podgorica's airport with falsified documents.
He faces:
Multiple counts of fraud charged by U.S. federal prosecutors,
Civil charges in the U.S. and
an ongoing investigation in South Korea related to last year's terraUSD collapse.
Conclusion
It seems like this is the end of the story for all the different scammers which pushed us into the last Bear Market.
The space seems much cleaner now that Machinsky, SBF, Do Kwon and other sketchy individuals are going behind bars.
There are still some borderline individuals in the Crypto Space (Yes, I am looking at you Justin Sun ) but most of them have faced justice.
