I came across a couple of posts on Hive that had the tag #30daybloggingchallenge. I liked the idea, and so this is my challenge.
This one is interesting. The title for these posts come from the internet, so one has to look at this several ways. Are they referring to a desert island? If so, then I would choose drilling machines, pipes, and seeds. Because I'd need to find drinkable water which is most likely going to be in reservoirs deep in the ground. Evaporating enough saltwater for drinking is going to require too much effort. Once you attain enough water, then you might be able to start planting the ground with seed.
If they mean a deserted island then you have more play. I'd choose a speargun to make fishing easier. Food is most likely not going to be a problem to survive so attaining that food more efficiently is better.
A machete would be my other go-to object. Chances are, dense bush will cover a deserted island, so getting around will be tricky without cutting paths.
My third thing will be my family. By family, I mean my wife and little boy. It'll get us out of the rat race that is modern life.
If, however, the island is the misspelled type I see all over the internet, and I've somehow landed on a dessert island, then I will need a spoon, a syringe, and copious amounts of insulin.
