Making an analogy with sports, I have been arguing that Hive is not for sprinters, because here it is a long-distance race. Consistency and endurance are two key pieces to see the results of your growth in this social network.
I was reviewing my history in relation to the #HPUD day and I discovered that my first participation was in July 2022, the following month I did not participate and since September of that year I have been taking part on the first day of each month, which adds up to 17 continuous months plus the previous month.
In Hive one often sees the possibilities of growing as something far away, but when one does things as it should be, one soon realizes the results. So I could see that by the time of my first #HPUD, my Hive Power was at 4,545,231. That means that at this moment I am only 150 hives short of having tripled my power.
This, of course, is the product of constant work and a permanent interest in continuing to invest in this platform. For this purpose, I always allocate 10% of all the income I have in Hive, precisely to Hive Power.
It is important to remember that apart from the power it gives us in the vote, the fact that the more we do our curation work, the more rewards we will earn; the fact that it gives us the power to choose who governs Hive, apart from all that... it is also an important economic reserve, it is our active capital.
This is why it seems absurd to me that there are people who feel that Hive "takes away" their money, when in fact it is helping you to grow and generate a solid economic base.
For my own control and for the curiosity of those who want to see it, here I leave the contributions I made to my HP, only what I invested, not including the HP generated by my posts.

Estuve revisando mi historial en relación con el día de #HPUD y descubrí que mi primera participación fue en julio de 2022, el mes siguiente no participé y a partir de septiembre de ese año he venido participando el primer día de cada mes, lo cual suma 17 meses continuos más el mes anterior.
En Hive uno muchas veces ve las posibilidades de crecer como algo lejano, pero cuando uno hace las cosas como debe ser, se da cuenta muy pronto de los resultados. Así pude comprobar que para el momento de mi primer #HPUD, mi Hive Power estaba en 4,545.231. Eso quiere decir que en este momento solo me faltan 150 hives para haber triplicado mi poder.
Esto, por supuesto, es producto de una labor constante y deun interés permanente en seguir invirtiendo en esta plataforma. Para ello siempre destino el 10% de todos los ingresos que tengo en Hive, precisamente al Hive Power.
Es importante recordar que aparte del poder que nos da en el voto, del hecho de que mientras mayor sea y hagamos nuestro trabajo de curación, vamos a ganar más recompensas; del hecho de que esto nos da poder para escoger a quienes gobiernan en Hive, aparte de todo eso... es también una reserva económica importante, es nuestro capital activo.
Por esto a mi me parece absurdo que haya gente que siente que Hive le "quita" su dinero, cuando en realidad te está ayudando a crecer y a generar una base económica sólida.
Para mi propio control y para la curiosidad de quien quiera verlo, acá dejo los aportes que hice mi HP, solo lo que yo invertí, sin incluir el HP generado por mis publicaciones.
