Okay, I am such a novice in crypto finance that it hurts. I've been enjoying the benefits of cryptocurrency since 2016 but I am so ashamed to admit that I don't know shit.
So recently there was a spike or was it a jump in the price of XRP and I only know that coz a friend literally forced me to accept a gift of 50 xrp in August.. It was initially 7,000 naira and then I checked out my wallet and saw an exciting 17,000 naira.
I'm really selfish whit money. So I decided to buy another coin within the wallet with 30 xrp. I called my brother and he said, you know what?? Buy USDT. I'm like "what the heck??" it's free money so what do I have to lose, you know??
I got some USDT and then I invested some more money in USDT coz well, I love seeing money in foreign currency that belongs to me.
So, yesterday I was playing around with the wallet and I saw that Tron coin was damn cheap... I like cheap... So, I sent in some money and got a little bit of it.
I told older brother about it and he said "hey, you could stake that shit". So hello, Tron staking!
I have no idea what I'm doing but I see my money going up and down in these wallets and I feel good about it. I'm not scared.. I'm just happy I have money set aside, you know.
Anyway, I would like to source more coins and invest little money here and there. I'm not worried, I'll keep them there for years. Maybe shuffle them about every now and then. I love playing with money.
So, I welcome myself into the crypto world all over again.
And even though I'm currently not in contact with the person who gave me that XRP, I'm grateful to him. Still, never want to speak to him, but I'm so grateful.
