Hello everyone! š
Are you ready for a photo dump with some cars that you don't see every day on the streets? š
Living in Sibiu doesn't come with just the advantage of seeing a lot of things in town and being close to literally every part of the country, but also with lots of events that are held especially during the summer.
One of the many ones that I managed to attend lately is the Transylvania Classic which is a rally where both classic and electric/hybrid cars race against each other, but also let people get a different perspective than this of seeing them on the streets because they are exposed after each race. Some of them even allow the audience to check the inside or drive a few of these if you have some sort of business testing cars or doing reviews about the gems on four wheels.
Though, since I try to keep my posts spam-free, the post from today will include just the electric and hybrid cars, the classic ones being revealed in the following weeks.
Through some of the most popular electric cars, there are also lots of models from Tesla which perhaps most people have in mind when they think about this type of vehicle, so it was hard not to see some on Transylvania Classic too, but even if it sounds crazy I've never been a fan of this brand.
And if we also think about all the incidents lately with people getting stuck in the car while it's engulfed in flames... then this is a serious reason to never get Tesla in my top of preferences just because I prefer safety over popularity or driving a cool car on the outside but where you meet your death on the inside.
Some other electric/hybrid options come from Peugeot, BMW, Kia, Hyundai, Skoda and Renault, but the BMW and Peugeot seemed the most familiar to me as these are the ones I've seen on the streets so far.
However, both the Renault and Kia are a great surprise for me because I love their design and new logos which makes you feel one step closer to the future where you will see more electric/hybrid cars on the streets rather than the classic ones. They are pretty stylish too!
Anyway, by far the stars of the electric/hybrid exposed cars were the BMW i4 and Porsche which caught a lot of eyes and made many people take a picture with them, I making no exception to the rule, lol!
There were actually two BMW i4 exposed with a similar license plate, but I love how these cars turned out even though I was never a fan of BMW while my boyfriends love this brand. So even though I wouldn't see myself driving any of these, I wouldn't say no to a ride with a BMW i4, haha!
What's you favourite electric/hybrid car?
