Volkswagen Escarabajo ícono de los años 60 creado, para alivianar una situación económica crítica por la cual atravesaba Alemanía en el año 1934 bajo la direción de un tal Adolf Hitler. Con un motor trasero longitudinal de 4 cilindros opuestos (boxer) refrigerados por aire y con válvulas en culata. El nombre de dicho motor colocado en honor al perro Alemán de raza Boxer. Auto pequeño de gran caracter capaz de alcanzar los 100 Km/h y de tranportar 4 pasajeros y su equipaje.
Beetle icon of the 60's created to alleviate a critical economic situation through which Germany was going through in 1934 under the leadership of a certain Adolf Hitler. With a longitudinal rear engine of 4 opposed cylinders (boxer) air-cooled and with valves in the cylinder head. The name of the engine placed in honor of the German Boxer dog. Small car of great character able to reach 100 km/h and to transport 4 passengers and their luggage.
Quizás muchos dirán; tantos autos de último modelo y escoge ese. Podrán existir miles de modelos pero para mi el Volkswagen Escarabajo representa libertad, viajes, familia, alegría.
Hoy día roba las miradas y cuenta con la admiración de muchos que al verlo pasar no deja de asombrar la presencia e historia que aun al transcurrir el tiempo mantienen. El escarabajo a hecho inmortal a la marca Volkswagen, podría decir que ese auto dió a conocer su vestigio en todo el mundo.
Perhaps many will say; so many late model cars and choose that one. There may be thousands of models but for me the Volkswagen Beetle represents freedom, travel, family, joy.
Today it steals the glances and counts with the admiration of many that when seeing it passing by it does not cease to amaze the presence and history that even with the passing of time it maintains. The Beetle has made the Volkswagen brand immortal, I could say that this car made its vestige known all over the world.
Pronto será cuando todo mejore y logre cumplir ese sueño.
