The BMW 330e has been a really interesting car for us, now typically with one of the German vehicles we get a mixed reception, with this model though it seems to have triggered a few people.
The car is amazing yes it doesn't have the core of an existing powerful 3 series namely a straight six or similar, instead it has 2L Turbo 4 cylinder and an electric motor, and yes it's RWD.
Now the fact it is hybrid seems to account for the mixed thoughts, our words to you are though, give it a chance it's very good, offers upto 138mpg and Ben managed 100 with his driving.
The model we have is £48,000 with options and is an M Sport edition meaning adaptive supension etc, it's also finished in Porto Mao Blue.
The range starts at around £37,000 for the hybrid, and yes it does plug in, home charge or type 2.
