The main thing that appeals about a Honda Civic Type R is the fact it's a family hatchback that's heavily modified - rather than something that's developed for racing!
One of the strongest assets of the EP3 is the K20 naturally aspirated four cylinder engine, with a very important component: VTEC (Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control)
VTEC is what makes this car. Up to 6,000 revs and it's relatively quick - however - once you go over 6,100 up to 8,250 RPM...that's when the engine unleashes the beast - and boy, do you feel it!
