This is the Rexton SUV from SsangYong, and it's powered by a 2.2 litre diesel engine, coupled to a 7 speed automatic gearbox (made by Mercedes Benz) It can tow up to 3.5 tons.
When it launched back in 2001, it was a more affordable alternative to a Land Rover Discovery, and back in the day there was nowhere near the refinement and tech you find nowadays:
Fast forward to 2017, and the Rexton got an overhaul - in fact, the only thing that stayed the same was the name, and the one we have on review is the fourth generation.
Refinements include heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, cruise control and a good infotainment system.
