Social media should not be taken seriously because not everything you see and read can be true. Nothing is ever as it seems on social media. The fact is, if you were happy with your life, would you spend all your time on social media seeking approval of others?
There are basically three kinds of people who lies on social media/real life:
- The one who lie to protect themselves.
- The manipulator type, who seeks control over the opinion and view about themselves.
- The one does it as an automatic reflex. They lied to deal with some uncomfortable situation, and somehow it's becoming their routine and a go-to behavior for almost any problem or what they desire.
As what I'm highlighting it here, those who displaying most of their happiness through their media social may have only one points in mind. They need to rationalized their lies as a “necessary evils” to achieve some greater view about what they want people to think of them.
The hypocrisy is getting the better of a mankind these days. I have my personal ideology to be private and happy without letting others know what I am up to. Life is not just happiness alone, it's a mix of good and bad moments.
It occurs to everyone and most people share their happy moment only on social media mostly to boast their greatness self. As many might guess the truth behind every posting, some might pretend to be happy though they are not happy.
I've seen on hand some matters that their bad moment was posted on social media. I did that too. It's pathetic and when I read it back, I wish I was not too emotional. After the bad moment had passed, we're becoming more rational on every move and decision we make.
I knew only few friends who got laid off or fired off from their work and posted it on their media social. Nobody wants to updates about their crying or suffering on their social media, but some may do to let other people learn on how to help to survive the challenge that they have been too.
Layoffs from work usually occur either due to the business or mergers failed, and you may not have any control over what happen or whatsoever and getting fire from work usually occur due to your performances. It's normal to experience anger and grief if you lose a job, I know it can be emotionally devastating.
As hard and stressful as this can be, some other people know how to create their own happiness, which will contribute directly to their self-healing process. One way or another, it helps them boast their lack of self-doubting over their capabilities by creating a nice fantasy through their social media, as a start.
Nobody lies for fun, and they may just desire by telling lies that benefit themselves in some way. Nobody wants to wake up every day and live a life out of a game of lying. Sporadically, the truth is worse than a lie, and we do it anyway when it's becoming critically hard for us to deal with.
As what I'm trying to deal now and in reality, I need to handle things as careful as I can. Be the brightest and settle it intelligently. I need to remind myself that there is a future if we plan for it. Never quit, Just live, learn and adjust!

My advice to myself would accordingly follow as these :
A wise man once said,
“Be careful who you let on your ship because some people will sink the whole ship just because they can't be the captain”
