Weekends for me are rarely for fun or rest since I can remember, they have always been busy or mostly busy and when there is not much to do or I finish what I have to do I rest.

When Cristian was a kid and until he was 15 years old, I played baseball, which meant that my weekends were to attend practices or a game, believe me when I tell you that many times I didn't want to wake up early to attend, but I was teaching my son to honor his word if he decided to play baseball he had to take full responsibility.

Now, currently my weekends are focused on cleaning and laundry, the main reason is that the days when the water comes to the area where I live are the weekends and this implies that I will be active many hours of the weekend, to get the most out of it.

When I don't have to do much because I have been able to get something done during the week, I focus on resting and watching some TV, which means that I will be lying in bed, usually in the company of my husband and, of course, at least one of my cats.

Another thing that usually happens on the weekends is going to the supermarket or other places to go shopping, either for food or cleaning supplies, I usually go to different places in search of economy.

I also use some hours of my weekend to create my publications, in that time I never miss the company of one of my cats, either by my side with Kirara who lies in a little bed I made for them in a plastic basket or Señor Gato in my legs demanding attention and caresses, since he is a very pampered kitty.

Another thing that makes me be active on the weekends, but that I enjoy very much, is watering the plants in the gardens, since they are the only days that I can connect the hose to the street water supply and water them all with plenty of water, especially when lately it has been a hot sun almost all day long.

In conclusion, my weekends are more of activity than sedentary, thus ends my participation on Weekend-Engagement #192
