I didn't really have a plan for the weekend, but the truth is that I deserved to have one...after several days without being able to move forward on other projects - due to the unfortunate power outages - I got fed up with everything and went shopping to treat myself to some treats and replace several "kitchen utensils",that it could also have been a few more things...😇...; What if my mother was looking at me through a little crack in the firmament? He was mockingly mocking me, I know...kisses for you mom, every day we become a little more alike...❤️...😅
Believe me, after being stressed for three weeks, and now to top it all off with the big seasonal cold (which I don't know if it's the same one that came from the bat that the Chinese ate, because my nose doesn't distinguish between a cup of milk and a cup of coffee), the best way to free myself from all that was to go to a store and spend a few dollars, and I enjoyed it so much because I'm alive and happy and long live consumerism¡with discretion of course!
I assure you that this energetic Pharrell Williams, Because Im Happy song was playing in my headphones for every step I took among the people, and I wanted to dance even if they thought I was crazy.
Not only was I happy for spending a little money, but for being on the street, mixing with people and seeing how the world does not stop even though yours has its own direction, and several setbacks...whether you are there or not, life will be an eternal wandering of its protagonists: man.
I also noticed that in previous years the shops closed later and you could walk until dark looking merchandise, ceramics and paintings by provincial people with incredible quality. I really missed browsing the bookstores where I unearthed books that no one knew existed there, and I forgot to buy my shoes because I preferred to waste the money by spending on a few extra books because the smell of their new pages is the prodigious elixir that the human mind falls in love with....what a beautiful time!
Bookstores with empty shelves.
I remembered with great nostalgia a song by Soraya,Suddenly that inevitably led me to the years of the best friendships, and some innocent loves that still live in the distance, and that are felt when I walk through those same streets where we whispered in each other's ears and died of laughter just by looking into the depth of our gazes...sometimes memory hits you for no reason and you wonder: why do I have to remember this now...is it the music that activates forgotten areas of your memories?
We are a town founded during the Spanish colony, our architecture has stopped in time.
Do you know that I always use an umbrella?
However, not today, today I enjoyed the sun warming my skin, my hair tangled in the wind, my arm wrapped in the warmth of his arm, and the footsteps of equals in one direction... there was so much peace and good vibes.
And between one song and another that I have saved among my favorite lists, I have this from by Melendi, The Promise that I can't lie I loved so much because it is the same antithesis of unrequited love that is carried in the soul with the sole objective of keeping it and cuddling it so that it sleeps and doesn't wake up again, because there are things that are respected far beyond friendship...
If you know about plants you can observe the so-called Desert Flower... incredibly beautiful among the other species.
That's how it is one day, you wake up and the music marks you in a corridor of one - two - three, the memories, the experiences, and the smells that your smooth and delicate journey through life.
My tips for today.
- Don't stop worrying about those who truly love you.
- Don't let it affect you that others can judge you.
- Don't go where they don't welcome you.
- Explain to yourself every day wherever you come from, your life is worth as much as that of any human being.
- Understand that life will never stop being worth living, much less when you listen to good music.
This is my Saturday walk and my songs for you today.
