Hi there! I'm once again happy to stop by and wish you all had a great weekend, as calm or exciting, as peaceful or intense as your heart desired.
If you were to ask me which past era I would have liked to have lived in this current age I am, I would answer without a doubt that I would have loved it to be in the 70s.
I didn't even think about it for a bit because I can immediately picture myself as a very hippie and peace-fighting individual.
It's the decade when my mom was in college and I've always been fascinated by seeing her photos from that time; I saw her as beautifully simple and dreamy, that's the impression I get when I see her student photos.
I love the clothing she wore and how she styled her hair; in fact, I still own and wear some of her clothes from back then.
Now, if I were living in this age in the 70s, I would have already finished college and would be a scientist with teenage children whom I would teach about the injustices of the world.
I would probably be a university professor and would be in charge of opening the minds of students so that they don't tolerate any injustice in the world; I would also probably have some serious problems with some colleagues who have differences with my points of view.
I imagine living through great contradictions because I wouldn't justify using drugs and would make my contemporaries understand that the CIA is experimenting with the hippie movement by drugging everyone to make them look like idiots and to keep them away from the true goals of conquering spaces in favor of peace.
I would have probably strived a lot to teach young people to live in solidarity and love and would have been very happy.
I've always loved the rock from the 70s; I used to listen to this music with my mom and through her I learned to appreciate bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and artists like Janis Joplin.
Since I was a child I liked the music of my contemporary adults from that time and when I was born in the 80s my mom was still listening to her music from the early 70s.
At 43 years old I consider that I bring the best of every decade I've lived with me, but now that I think about it, I see that I also bring with me the best of the decades I haven't lived.
Aho!
I’m always creating original content, any topic I write about on my blog is approached from my experience and my personal point of view "as I lived it and as I see it" unless I indicate otherwise, and I will always be attentive to provide information to the community. As in this case, my blog banners were created in Adobe Creative App and Canva and the icons of my networks I edited to adapt them to my personal brand in Canva with its free elements. The photos were taken with my mobil.
