The WEEKEND is the best word for working moms like me. It is the time when I can spend my whole attention and time with my family. Leaving all the work in school and taking time with my husband and son is my ultimate therapy.
Have a great weekend Hiveians! How's your weekend going there? Is it as productive as you? Well, I hope so 😍. Today, I'm gonna share with you what our weekend looks like.
ON SATURDAY....
We were about to leave home this time to go swimming. Meanwhile, my husband trims the nails of our son. We also waited for my aunt's family to finish and be with us. Just a short notice, whenever my husband is home he will be in charge of doing this since our son never complains when his dada is doing it. Compared to when I am the one trimming his nails he keeps on moving and doesn't want to be in such a situation.
Oh, take a look! My husband did it quickly. I know mothers out there can relate. Agree? Hehehe. Sometimes our son or daughter is just clingy to us that is why they behave that way. My son seems bored in waiting huh, he looks so cute 😍.
My son can't wait anymore so he proceeded immediately to the tricycle owned by my aunt that is where we ride going to the sea. Talking about SWIMMING when my son heard it, he is more excited than us. But before he doesn't like it, he even cried when I bathe him in the sea. And now, it's the contrary.
While on our way to our destination, my aunt dropped by at seven eleven to buy some drinks and snacks. It is a must to have some food and drinks when we go to the sea. Her family accompanied us in going there because their children were having runny noses and coughs. We believe that saltwater could be of great help in curing such.
THE ARRIVAL ...
At last, we're here! The kids were very excited to bathe in the sea. It is nice to be here because there is no entrance fee. You just have to pay only for the table and chairs that you use during the day. Oh, see? already saved, worth it!
IT'S GRILL TIME...
We bought some meat from the pig. This is the one grilled by our respective husbands. We were very thankful for having these kinds of husbands who in their special ways were very supportive (Yay!). By the way, in this place, there is a portion where you can do grilling of whatever meat you have brought. Good for the visitors not to be bothered about where to grill some meat.
Wow! If the kids were very excited, we too felt the same way. Since the boys did the grill, we have grabbed this time to bathe in the sea with the kids. We have to look for the kids swimming because it's dangerous when we leave them alone. Indeed, parental guidance is a must.
Wherever we go, the spirit of Christmas can be felt due to this man who did the caroling. I love listening to his songs sung to us. My husband told him to sing very nicely so that he will earn an appropriate amount of money for it. It was just a joke! Even my husband didn't tell him that, he has a very good-quality voice which is why I love listening to it.
TIME TO GO HOME...
As we headed back home, we stopped at the gasoline station for the tricycle to be fueled with gasoline. And the kids were falling asleep. I know they were tired but looking at them having so much fun, will make our day. It's fulfilling to make time for our children amidst how busy we are.
WE'RE HOME...
My husband does the laundry. I am the one hanging the clothes. Anyway, we are just three in a family we don't have many washed clothes. We will just help each other with whatever household chores are. But mostly my husband did everything (i am so blessed to have him).
ON SUNDAY...
My two boys were busy preparing themselves as we are about to celebrate the mass. But I am the one changing our son's clothes. Momshies, what's in your bag when you go out with your son? Can you relate to this? Yeah! What I have in my bag were the bottles - one for his milk and the other for the water. Some extra clothes for him, a handkerchief, umbrella, masks, my comb and powder, and of course, some cash in it.
CHURCH TIME...
Hooray! At last, the rain never stops us from going to church. My husband is very God-fearing and even I as well. No wonder if when he is at home, we will spend time together at the church. Celebrating the goodness of the Lord to our family. For pouring us with great blessings (To God Be The Glory).
DINNER TIME...
Every day is a family day but Sunday is the best time to celebrate it more so with good food to eat. Yeah, we ate our dinner in one of the restaurants here in our place. This was our first time going here. The materials used in building this were native, and the ambiance of the place was captivating.
The food was so yummy, worth the price. We ordered the boddle set which is good for 3-4 people. Imagine, we were only 3 but we consume it all (burp, sorry). Indeed, our weekend ended with a heavy stomach and a happy heart.
Rest assured, I am forever grateful to the Lord for having my husband and son. They are my inspirations in life and my great motivation to continue doing my best at all times.
That's all for today's blog my dear fellow hivers. Thank you for reading it. I hope it is worth your time. Until next time, see you around. Stay safe and God bless.
