Even though I am a man, sometimes I also like to act as a home chef, and my mother also likes to ask me to cook, not cook in the kitchen like women generally do.
However, my mother likes to ask me to grill fish for me outside the house which requires me to make an open fire. What I usually grill using an open fire is small tuna and also several other types of fish.
I also like to grill chicken with an open fire outside the house, usually to make my cooking results more delicious I coat the chicken or fish that I grill using special spices that I buy at the market.
I also like to put sweet soy sauce and sauce when I grill fish or chicken so that the aroma of the chicken or fish that I grill becomes more delicious and the taste is also more delicious.
I have also fried fish on an open fire in the wooden kitchen behind our house. However, behind my love of cooking, there was one disaster that happened when I was cooking using an open fire.
At that time, my mother asked me to fry peanuts, when I was frying peanuts using an open fire, suddenly the fire grew bigger and entered the wok which made the fire so big that it burned the roof of the wooden kitchen which at that time we were still using rumbia leaves for the roof of the wooden kitchen behind our house.
Luckily, there was a water source near our kitchen, I immediately took water to pour on the burning kitchen roof, fortunately the fire could go out which saved us from the fire.
That was my experience when I experienced a disaster when I was cooking with an open fire, until now my mother has never asked me to cook again with an open fire because my mother is afraid that the terrible incident will happen again.
And now we also don't have a wooden kitchen which makes us never cook outside the house using an open fire, through the story that I share, I hope that my friends will also be more careful when cooking so that they don't experience the same incident as me.
