Warm weekend greetings from my end to yours. Hope you are all having a great time with family and friends...?
I don't think I have come across anyone who doesn't like gifts. Gifts have a way of warming the heart both for the giver and the receiver.
If I had the opportunity to gift anyone a habit this weekend...who would that be?
That person would be my awesome and amazing brother. He is the next in line, right after me in my family hierarchy. I am older than him with five years but this guy looks bigger than me in appearance and he is quite handsome as well 😁.
my handsome bro
He is a computer geek and it's his natural talent. Ever since he was a kid, he always had a knack for opening up any spoilt electronic gadget at home to see what was inside. Later it progressed with him trying out ways to fix them and he finally got better at it.
He has and still is a good brother to his siblings. He is a softie...well only to me actually. He is one brother I would always like to have over and over again.
What gift?
The one gift I would give to this amazing bro of mine is the habit of orderliness. As much as I love him for who he is and everything, I totally dislike his unorderly trait. It makes me scream aarrrggghhh!.
my bro again
What I mean is that, he could finish eating anywhere in the house and leave the dish used there for days or until he wants to use it again. He dumps his clothes wherever he likes without a care in the world. His room is the messiest in the house.
I am a person who likes order and organization. I don't like things being haphazard at all. I like to plan my clothes for work overnight,I like to keep my personal belongings in strategic positions that are both orderly and easy to reach.
Whenever I organize or keep my stuff in order, especially in my room, if someone comes in to touch anything in my absence, I would know immediately I enter the room. My younger siblings often make fun of that action by saying that I have eyes behind my head to see things that go on in my space, even when I am not there.
Why this gift?
My brother does not like to organize his things and when it ends up getting displaced or misplaced, he begins to stress about it, ransacking the whole house for the item. I usually call him a scattered guy and he is quite cool with it.
Sometimes I wonder how his future wife will cope with his unorderliness. I can't imagine picking up after a grown ass man all my life... it's kinda absurd and that's why I want him to have even a little bit of orderliness. It would gladden my heart and I'm sure that his future wife will thank me for it 😁😁.

He is a kind soul, always has my back and he is very supportive towards my course... maybe that's why I cleaned up and organized his rooms back in the day when we were younger. That job is now reserved for his missus, except he accepts my gift and works on himself.
This is my response to the third prompt raised by for #weekend-engagement for week #182. Always a pleasure being here and sharing with you all in this community.
Thank you all for reading and sharing your thoughts. Let's learn together..Shalom.
