Many weekends come by and I usually tend to spend this time on music and working on my Hive content. That's all good but it means staying inside and doing just some hand gymnastics. My most physical weekends, imply some work on instrument. Long days like those tend to be perfect for whole portions of sanding and applying a finish on a surface.
Besides that, the rest of the days are simple. There's a hammock and the chance of making some chocolate. And I won't deny those two things are a perfect fit to stay put.
However, starting this Saturday and up to March, I'll partake into a poetic exploration experience.
Since we are celebrate some important milestones in regards to the works of Aimé Bonpland, the decision was made to make an activity that combines poetry and botany into one thing. It is an interesting experiment from the mind of and one thing that will give a lot to talk.
The idea is simple. We'll have some theory about plants. For that, the professor has enlisted the help of some biologists from the city. Once we have done this, exploration begins. There are some key points in the city where we will go and see of the species that were catalogued centuries ago. The idea is to have the scientific knowledge about the plants and look for the way to make it into poetry.

That's not all! We have to make our own field journal for annotations and some of the poetic work. It will be interesting to see how everyone puts their ideas together from the observations and other ways to gather the input to create poetry. It reminds me of an aspect of this game "Ghost of Tsushima" where there are place to write haikus while being attuned with nature. Since I like to write haikus, this whole experience will be sublime!
So, my usual idle weekends will get me the chance of some exercise for the brain and body. And let's not forget some food for the soul! 8 Saturdays full of sun, wind, outdoors and plants await for me. It's a good thing it all starts tomorrow!
