If you are prone to overthink, there are things you can't escape. For example, when something worries you, rest is almost impossible. But in this case when the weekend arrives I tend to go back to everything I did during the week.
I received a package. This was coming from the other side of the country. Would you just look at my new toy? A study hack saw ready to do some cuts and help with workshop business.
I tested this with an old say and cut down some thing made if aluminum that were taking up space in the backyard. So it definitely works.
Expanding the set of tools at my disposal is a top goal of mine. However, due to space requirements I will be forced to stop acquiring them soon. I don't have a toolshed and there's not that much space in the house for all this things I'm bringing in. Maybe I'll get this ultimatum I received from my mother years ago about musical instruments. It's either going to be me or the tools in the house. Ha, ha, ha. I'll look up for crannies to lay down and come back to the house for work.
Moving on, an old friend from work got in contact with me about my label. He is the one behind the logo in the back.
Here's a better look! The is responsible of the double A in the back. He wanted to make a better version since these were taken out of a drawing made by hand. So I sent him a vector map with the letters and in around an hour he came back at me with the results. Quite good in you ask me. I think he did this because he's practising with a design program and looking for any chances to use the thing. I don't mind. That's usually how I learn to use programs
This new iteration of the logo is symmetrical in every aspect and I even have option between thick and thin letters. These will help me watermark pictures and think about a new label. But the latter might come later in the process. Meanwhile, I'm happy to get more support for the workshop.
Also, I've asking for some help to fill some gaps in my knowledge of traditional Venezuelan music. The response has been amazing. I've been given homework in sense of looking for material to listen to and things to practice. What a wonderful thing to find people willing to share what they know! And thus, making me able to share this things here. So maybe someone in need of this information will see it in due time, completing the cycle again. Knowledge getting out of the bottle and being spread around the blockchain.
The last thing to share is my commitment to exercise. Yesterday, I successfully completed my first month of exercise and even though I can't see changes, I feel stronger and more active. Perhaps a little too active since sleeping gets tricky. But I'll solve that issue. Next week I'll hit the high number of repetitions in the exercises and then go down to the minimum adding more weight and other movements to get more activation and continue the progression. In three months, I'll publish a picture to see if there's any changes. For now, it's the weekend and it's time to rest and get onto recording my #openmic entry.
Have a great weekend, my dear hivers! I hope you get to rest or do the things you need. But as always, stay awesome!
