Hello friends, welcome to my blog
I don’t know if there are appropriate times to swear, but I do believe that there are places where you can swear and places where you can’t. For example, even though I’m a woman, I often swear. Sometimes I let off steam and feel great relief when I swear to vent anger, frustration, or just for the sake of it. But that only happens when I’m at home or with people I trust completely. People on the street don’t know that such profanity can come out of my mouth 🤣🤣. But when I refer to places, it’s because that doesn’t happen at work, especially since I’m a teacher. Imagine a teacher with that kind of vocabulary.
So, I do think that the place matters more than the moment, because sometimes in a moment of anger, swear words come out, but also when I’m with trusted friends sharing a pleasant moment, they can come out when talking about specific topics, and it doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m upset. But what can’t happen is that at my workplace during class or in a meeting with my coworkers, I show that side of myself. I don’t think it’s appropriate; it would be totally out of place, literally.
That's just talking about work, because it also applies to people who go to church or when we visit public places. That's how I see it; I've witnessed every unpleasant situation on the street where, because of a simple misunderstanding, people often say horrible things and insults, because they don't control their anger or simply don't care what comes out of their mouths. So yes, we should save swear words for appropriate places and times.
