Have you ever experienced having to decide whether you want to go or not, and in the end you have no choice but to go?
Anyway, let me take you to my weekend story.
Hi dear Hivers! This is my first time writing in this lovely community, and today I’m sharing one Saturday evening full of hesitations before I finally decided to go out.
It was Saturday at 5 PM when I told my youngest sister that I wanted to go out and even asked her to join me. But after saying that, I suddenly felt hesitant because I got so lazy for some reason. Maybe because it was already getting dark, and sometimes I just don’t want to prepare this late and would rather stay at home instead. But in the end, we finally decided to go.
We went to Ayala and met Gelo, my sister’s boyfriend. We walked around SM Mall and checked the Men’s section to look for a suit that my boyfriend is going to wear on our special day. When we found one, we looked at the colors, design, and prices — just canvassing for now.
After searching, we decided to get dinner because we were all hungry. We headed to Glorietta Mall and looked for a restaurant. We found a food court with a variety of food options. “World Chicken” caught our attention since you can customize your meal — one or two sidings, your choice! We happily ordered and enjoyed their tender, juicy chicken. It was really good!
After eating, we went for another walk. We noticed an event happening inside the mall, so we stopped for a while to watch. It was a special Christmas celebration by G-Force. Yes, you heard that right! In the Philippines, we celebrate Christmas for a long time — from September until the first week of January. We enjoyed their performance and the bright, huge Christmas tree in the center.
But the mall was about to close, and we still wanted to check a few things. My sister suggested getting coffee — because the night wouldn’t be complete without it! So we walked outside the mall, looking for a coffee shop with a nice ambiance. However, most stores were already closed, and the others were too far. So we decided to go to Starbucks in Greenbelt. At first, we didn’t want to go there because it was crowded and a bit loud, but we had no other choice. We went in, found seats, and ordered. We enjoyed our coffee and our conversation until we realized it was already late. The store had already closed, but we continued chatting outside.
It was really a fun Saturday night for us. We got the chance to talk about a lot of things while enjoying good coffee. Spending my weekend with them was so worth it!
Thank you everyone! I’ll catch you on my next weekend blog! 🫶🤗
