If there's one photo that I am proud of, that would be the photo of my hometown. My hometown is Iloilo, I grew up there and studied my elementary days, and I have lots of memories and pain in that place that I will never forget.
This is the farm I grew for 13 years, it was a place that I call home before we relocate here to Manila for a better future. The photo was taken last 2018 and sadly I can see this place again but in the saddest moment of our life, my sister died due to brain complications, and the family decide to go home to the province so that our relatives will see my sister's body for the last time.
Enough of drama and let's tackle why I love this place and what are the different things you can like about my hometown, as you can see in the photo above. my hometown was surrounded by vast spaces of land, so we can play anytime on the field and then swim in the ocean.
What I love about this place is there are a lot of attractions you can see, if you want some peace of mind then you can climb a hill then sit in the wild grasses while looking at the magnificent view of nature.
Another thing is, we offer different types of attractions like our famous Sanctuary which is protected by DENR since there's a need for a sanctuary for fishes and reefs for them to repopulate and make a balance on the ocean ecosystem.
Our sanctuary is now very beautiful, last time we go home the sanctuary had lots of cottages and karaoke bars. The entrance fee is only 50 pesos and visitors can freely roam around and swim however it is prohibited to catch fish and destroy any property since it was protected by the government.
There are other curricular activities like boating, diving, and snorkeling but there's an additional payment for it, overall our place can offer different types of nature activities, it's best for those people who got stressed in life and wanna unwind.
My siblings are planning to go home this coming June but sadly I can't go with them since I have a class to attend and my institution doesn't have vacation since we are in the trimester and we only had sem breaks for 2 weeks. That would be all, thanks for passing by.
