Since September is celebrated as a family banquet as per the National Committee on the Filipino Family (NCFF) we decided to have our way of celebrating it with friends and families. We had planned it so last Saturday I and my hubby decided to visit the chosen venue.
Overgrown weeds on our way to the venue
It is located within the City of Naga near the famous public beach. So we rode on our motorcycle and we passed by these overgrown weeds which means that we were near to the venue. It was just a two-story house covered with overgrown trees and outside the wall, there were carved cartoon characters. I don't know the name of this tree but it has small pink flowers. We enter into a small gate where you never expect to see that there is a hidden pool inside. When we enter the gate there is already a set of people having fun and some are grilling.
Outside the venue.
The attendant was not at the entrance gate so I roam around and the owner saw me. We talked about the reservation, which would be on September 24 and we reserved it exclusively for us so there would be no drunkards ruining our event. My husband and the owner had small talks while I took pictures around.
The pool covered with umbrellas.
They have two pools, one for the kids and the other for adults. We've been in this place a couple of times since then. I feel safe because we can only see the children splashing and playing in the other pool which is also connected to the adult pool. It is not that big but it is properly arranged. You cannot feel the heat due to the lot of umbrellas covered over the pool.
Clean and relaxing
On the side, you can see the cottages, small and big tables, a swing, and a karaoke bar. There are also lots of lifejackets and you can use them for free. The place is highly fenced and the pool is very clean and blue. I feel relaxed as I watch the water and it triggers me to take a swim.
Big cottages
Small cottages
After paying our reservation fee we decided to go out and just a few steps from the venue you can reach the public beach. I took a picture of the calm waters. There is no sign of a storm. The sea is very calm and as I go nearer I discover that there are no more cottages left and the place now is clean.
What a nice day
Before, this place was full of cottages and every Sunday lots of people filled this area and you can see a lot of drunkards here. The local government already prohibits people from swimming so nobody will throw garbage anywhere. On the one side, I see this mini garden which I believe is just a decoration and a chair under the shade of a mini tent. I believe somebody spends his day sitting in front of the beach.

A big signage
As I continue taking pictures you will see a big signage that throwing garbage is not allowed. On the other side, you can see an oil factory which is called "LUDO". Our beaches here in the City of Naga are already contaminated due to many factories since it is called an Industrialized City.
An oil Factory
It was indeed a great sight for me to visit those places since I always stayed home for a week. Sometimes we must get out and see the outside world for a while just to breathe before going back to our daily routine.
Hope you enjoy our quick peek for today. See you next time.
