DEAR SELF Weekend-Engagement 146
Dear Daddy Christian,
I know you are very excited of your new chapter in your life as a father. Congratulations to that! I know you have been wishing and praying to be a father as soon as you meet the perfect woman for you. Take care of them - your wife and your baby! Show them your love and support all the way.
I know there will be times that you will get exhausted and stressed out about anything in your life, but always remember that you can also pause from time to time. You just need to breathe in and out, and then you will be fine. Never let your emotion decide for you, instead acknowledge your feelings but still act accordingly.
You are a strong individual, that has been proven many times already in your past experiences. Use those experiences in this aspect of your life so that you will live a very happy and peaceful life.
Keep your promise that you will always be of service to your family. That you will always be present in all of their endevours. Backing-up. Cheering. Supporting.
Dear Teacher Christian,
From what I have learned you are almost on your tenth year in the service as a teacher! That has been a long journey so it is very proper to send you my warmest felicitations!
But in all honesty, how are you? Are you still happy being a teacher? Do you still find joy in teaching the youth? Are you in a healthy working environment? Are you happy of the administration and the system itself?
I am certain that you prayed and worked for this - to be a teacher. So, I know deep in your heart that you are grateful that you are a teacher. I know that you love sharing new knowledge to your students as well as learning something new with them, for them, and from them. But I also acknowledge that there are pieces about this job that hurts you so let me cheer you up in the best way I can.
You are doing right and you are still on the right track just stop minding what destroys your health. The toxic people are always there and you have no control of that. Just stay away from them and always remember to choose your battles. Lastly, have an ultimatum or a deadline, if you no longer find yourself growing, leave it. There will be more opportunities that will be worth it.
I know you are still enjoying your life as a teacher, so I am certain you will be inspiring and touching more lives.
Dear Self,
Thank you for staying strong despite all the challenges you faced through out your life. Thank you for reaching your childhood dreams, and working on your next goals in life. Thank you for making so many people happy because of your loyalty, generousity, laughter, love, and service. You are doing great, and I want to witness more of that. So, keep it up!
Love,
Self
