Bonding moments with the family are the best, especially those unplanned ones.
Hello to all the beautiful people of the Hive! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. For today, I will share with you our unplanned joy ride and beach moments from last weekend.
The kids woke up very early on a Saturday morning, so my husband and I agreed to go for an early morning ride on a motorcycle. I ran into a quick food packing and grabbed a few clothes in case we wanted to stop by the beach.
We left the house at 5:30 AM. Although we had little money in our pocket as long as the gas tank is full, we were good to go. The kids were excited when I told them " Adto ta dagat!" ( We'll go to the sea/ beach!) And as expected, a loud and big "YEHEY"(an expression of joy) echoed 😂.
We went to Tabuelan through a shortcut via Ilihan, Tabogon. Along the way, we watched the tall green trees, amazed by the view, and felt the cold silent roads.
The only view that I was able to capture when my husband stops for a moment to check something on the motorcycle tire.
Sadly, I was not able to capture more photos during the ride because I am more focused on holding my babies at the back riding the motorcycle. But one thing that I did not miss was the wonderful view of nature. Then, at last, my sweet driver husband decided to stop by the beach as we reached Tabuelan🥰.
THE ARRIVAL...
We arrived in Tabuelan at around 6 in the morning. We were persuaded by the relaxing view after a long ride.
The sea is about to reach the low tide however we enjoyed the long and wide white sand beach🏖️
The beach is most beautiful during sunrise, indeed. My two kids didn't waste a single second and went directly to the seashore (excited much😂).
My baby girl enjoying the moment😍
It seemed that the sea waters ran away a few minutes after we landed our feet on it😂. As I said, it was about time for low tide when we arrived. So, we just enjoyed the glittering white sands🥰.
My precious jewels, the kids, were having much fun playing with the sand. Cedrick enjoyed it most because he brought with him his toy backhoe. They built a sand volcano and small hills😅. They ran around picking small stones and sea shells too.
MY MOMENT...😂
I would regret it if I did not take the moment to capture the beautiful view without me in it. These were memories worth keeping in my phone gallery.
SWIMMING TIME...
The sunlight was getting hotter so we decided to go swimming with the kids.
My husband and I gamely played with the kids. We let them ride on our backs as we went swimming into the deeper part of the sea. We also played water wars which the two enjoyed very much. Our Vitamin Sea Day was filled with laughter and happiness, especially for the kids.
At around 8 in the morning, we decided to take our breakfast and go home after. We decided not to take our breakfast at the seashore because I have already changed the kid's clothes and I know that they can't resist the sea if we stayed long there and got wet again ( I had only brought one pair of clothes for them).
BREAKFAST ON A CONCRETE BARRIER NEAR THE PAVEMENT UNDER THE MANGO TREE...
Not so far from the seashore, we stopped by the pavement and decided to take our breakfast on a concrete barrier under a mango tree ( don't worry, we made sure it was clean and also the surroundings). Few cars and motorcycles were passing by so it was not dusty at all.
A simple yet memorable breakfast, indeed. An unplanned joy ride that ended up on a beach was the best family bonding experience on weekends.
That's all for now my friend!🥰 I hope you also enjoyed reading about our family's weekend experience.
Thank you so much for your time. See you on my next blog soon. Big warm hugs🥰
