I've always loved learning. At any point in time I'm usually studying at least 3-4 different things.
Case in point:
At the moment I'm reading a(nother) book on money. I'm also regularly finding and watching videos on several different aspects of Quantum Biology (think: light, electrons, water, movement, electricity, and all things tiny).
I'm endlessly studying more aspects of the Human Design system (a big part of my work). I'm involved in a live group program learning about and using yet another version of tapping (think, EFT but better).
And I'm always, endlessly, gently working my way through the work of Irene Lyon (nervous system and trauma resolution specialist).
I meant it when I said it: I really love learning!
But if I had to pick just one thing what would it be?
I think I'd have to pick Irene's work. It's deep, it's delicious and I feel like I could literally learn from her for decades and still find myself learning new stuff.
But more than that - her work has been incredibly helpful in improving the quality of all aspects of my life. Yes, all of them. My finances, my relationships with my family, my physical and mental health (which are really just one thing anyway) and even my sex life have been improved through practising what I have already learned from her over the last year.
To take it even further, everything I learn from her then influences and impacts what I do with clients and how (well) I serve them.
It seems there is no place in my life that her work doesn't somehow touch and, as it were, positively impact.
While I love the many other things I am studying (I wouldn't learn about the if I didn't as I have total autonomy over what I learn at this point in my life) I feel like what I learn from Irene could, as I practice what I'm learning, negate the need to learn about any of the other aforementioned things.
Thankfully, I don't actually have to choose, so imma gonna go ahead and keep studyin' all the things I love. 😀😁😂
But Irene is pretty fucking fabulous just in case you really want to create deep and lasting change wondered who the hell to listen to. Irene. Listen to Irene. If you like her and can let her brilliance land in your brave heart and your open mind, you just might become her next biggest raving fan.
This post was written in response to (one of) Galen's prompts this week. Check out the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES Community to see what all the fuss is about. This was the prompt I chose to answer(but there are always several every weekend):
If you could choose to study one single thing, what is it and why? Explain in a post of 300+ words using photos you took personally where possible.
