Hello my dear readers, today I come again to join this week 104 of Weekend Engagement, happy to share one more week with you and celebrate in the same way these two years of this commitment, this time I will use the second theme to share my words with you.
We all get hooked at some point with one song or another, either because it has a catchy sound, we like it or we simply feel identified with the lyrics, I am more of those who believe that the lyrics reflect what we really want to hear and, like everyone I also have my great songs that I enjoy from time to time if not daily, today I want to share these two songs that accompanied me in key moments of my life, thanks to them I managed to express without words what I felt and motivated me to make drastic changes.
The first song, although I already listened to it since I was young, since it is from one of my favorite bands of my adolescence "Simple Plan", the title is Perfect World and, although as I mentioned, they accompanied me since I was young at a certain point in my life, I listened to it again and again and again, since I felt overwhelmed, and that my life had no sense, this happened at the time of my mother's death, I remember that I sat in front of the computer listening to it over and over again, because its lyrics reflected much of what I felt in those crucial months in my life, certainly no one prepares to say goodbye to a loved one, much less a mother.
The second song with which I got hooked is from another of my favorite bands of all my life, this time the band is Panda and the song is Nunca Nadie Nos Podrá Parar, this song has always given me inspiration to do many things, I always turn to this song, when I feel that things are not going well, but at a certain point in my love relationship with my wife, we had many problems and, the truth is that I do not know why this song always gave me strength to fight, to show her and all those who doubted me, that I could achieve the things I proposed, always listen to this song as a therapy, so I felt, listen to it time after time, it seemed that magically gave me the courage and strength to face the world, every time I feel that I am in conflict or overwhelmed by problems I repeat the same Never anyone can stop me.
Music reflects a lot of who we are, how we feel and, many times, there are situations in which we find ourselves in a state of chaos or happiness and we use melodies and lyrics to show without words our feelings or the emotions we feel inside, and many times it is also as if each of the words that make them up, form a therapy that helps us and makes us feel free.
