I'll admit, I've not been around as much as I'd like to. Travelling has not yet been up in my cards yet, and I am hoping to change that as soon as I can. Because getting to see the world is one of my dreams, and unlike before, it doesn’t seem all that far fetched anymore.
As I haven't travelled much, sceneries of green and blues are more or less of a tough find in my gallery, as most of my time is spent in sad, sad coffee shops on lands full of concrete.
But still, these days, I try making time to get close nature every once in a while, at least once every weekend now, in fact, as home now seems to lie in a place full of lush green fields and cyan blue skies.
Just as it happens, these pictures were taken only this Friday, when I was there on yet another visit to see him. We always take short walks around the forest while I'm there, finding new places everytime. It's sort of out thing, getting lost on nature until it's time for me to leave.
I'm not much of a photographer, so my pictures never turn out well. But I've come to notice that most of the time, nature doesn’t require angles to look beautiful. So there's that.
Days pass slow while I'm there too. Heavy crunches of leaves under my feet, dirt on my shoes, his honey brown eyes and a silence starching out for miles without a single soul to notice; I love every moment of. It keeps me grounded, this trip, keeps me sane.
So I count my days every week just to be back there again, under the sun and rain and gloomy clouds, where green is the warmest colour, and home is but a single touch away.
