Have you and how often in your life in movies or series heard the sentence: "My name is ... and I am an alcoholic?"
I hope you have never heard that sentence live or uttered it.
I have heard it on TV several times, but never in my life have I uttered: "I am Duskobgd and I am an alcoholic". And I'll probably never say it.
Although, probably someone who sometimes looks at me from the side would think I'm a drunkard 😁
Every week I publish posts about beers, short posts from some gatherings, I take pictures of wines, beers, brandy...
And me? Sometimes I drink an interesting craft beer, when I'm with friends, we open a bottle of wine, we toast in the restaurant, as an aperitif I drink a brandy or some liqueur...
The topics that galenkp suggested for this week are very interesting and I could write a story on each of them, but I would still single out
Choice one: A wine tasting tour or brewery tour? Which would you choose and why?
I visited mini craft breweries on my own several times, when the owners explained the brewing process and when they presented me the beers they produce. Whenever I have the opportunity, I will take a look at the part of the brewery where they are brewed...
I visited several wineries, Zvonko Bogdan in Subotica, Deuric on Fruska Gora, but I rarely had the opportunity to visit wine cellars. Perhaps the only time it happened was when I entered the wine cellar of MonasteryTvrdos in Trebinje
For this reason (exclusivity), because the process of making wine is a "more expensive" business, I would choose a winery for a tasting tour.
There are a lot of wineries in my area, especially on Fruska Gora, but for them you need to go on organized tours, because you have to get to them by car, and what's the point of a winery tour if you don't taste all the wines that the winery produces...
And when you try everything from the offer of a winery, you are drunk enough to get behind the wheel of a car...
A tour of a winery usually includes, in addition to wine tasting, a solid meal, with local specialties for a food, so I've been thinking for a long time to find a company that likes to drink and eat, so we can book tickets for a tasting tour.
On Friday evening, while I was having dinner with my friends, holding a glass of white wine in my hand, while in the background there was a glass of top Capucciner beer that my friend was drinking, I definitely decided that I would choose this topic and that I would choose a winery for the tour, because I don't often have the opportunity for something like that and it remained on my wish list.
