If I'm feeling adventurous or really inspired, I'll try something new in the kitchen, but otherwise I stick to my ever loved favourites which I can cook with my eyes closed. Having said that, this I could not do with my eyes closed.
My "foodie me masterpiece" started with mushrooms. I love mushrooms but I have a sneaky suspicion that the way I've cut these is going to mess with people's OCD. I'm evil, I know hahaha.
So then I found some chocolate vermicelli in the dessert cupboard (I didn't even remember having these until I found them) and they worked well to create Brook Shields looking eyebrows, I think they turned out quite sweet. They didn't work so well for eye lashes though, so I used pieces of star anise for those and cloves for pupils.
I wanted to write "I have a corn on the cob knob" but when I thought about it, it certainly didn't sound like a good description for a nose. Cornflakes are not exactly a romantic food anyway.
Oatmeal is apparently very good for your skin, so I decided I'd have to use some for my freckles. I'm cheesy as all hell so cheese spice became my blush. My lips always taste like sweet orchard apples if ever I am kissed.
My hair naturally forms a bob when I wear it like this and as I'm a saucy little thing, I used that to colour my spaghetti hair.
I love the ocean and it's creations which ensured that I can always hear the waves as I have shells for ears and pea pearls for my necklace.
So that's me not in a nutshell. Not a foodie and not an artist but somewhere in-between. I hope you enjoyed my little creative outlet as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
I wish for Happy Weekending Experiences for you all!
