Why do you think people like to show off and brag to others? Explain.
We all have our own reasons for what we do both good and bad. Lemme share with you my simple thoughts.
If I were asked why I think people like to show off and brag to others, I'd say there are so many reasons behind it. I would like to use both my good and bad perspectives.
- I've noticed that some people- even those close to us- brag about unrealistic things just to make others feel jealous. But most of the time, people are too busy with their own lives to care.
The quiet luxury flex of their daily lives.
- Some people seek attention because they feel lonely- they want to be famous. They become what we call 'clout chasers', which can seem childish to others. But on the positive side, maybe they just want to be seen and noticed. Maybe they just hoping for a simple 'congratulations' for every accomplishments, big or small.
The flex of awards, accomplishments and events.
- Sometimes showing off becomes a bad habit. What people practice repeatedly turns into their way of seeking validation from others. For some- it's a mask- the lie behind their brag hides dark secrets and a life they're not happy with.
The new things and money flex.
- But showing off or bragging can be positive in some ways. It's how people express pride in what they have, what they've accomplished, and what they've been through. It always depends on your intentions- its not always negative.
The travel flex.
At the end of the day, we all just want to be seen. Whether it's a quiet win or a loud flex, there's always a human story behind it. So, before we judge, maybe we can ask: ' What are they really trying to say?
Always remember to be kind. Not every flex intended to hurt others- maybe they're telling another kind of story, not for others but for themselves.
