Last Saturday was a beautiful day for me and my sweetheart as we enjoyed ourselves together with other couples in the annual couples hangout held lastweek Saturday. Love they say "is a beautiful thing" and it is so good to always have time out with one's beloved and spend quality time together in relaxation as compared with the day-to-day activities as usual. This annual hangout is memorable to me as this is the first i will attend as a recently married man and the first hangout with my wife and we both enjoyed every moment of it.
The hangout started early in the morning on Saturday with sporting events involving different couples. The sporting activities includes footballing, sprints, ludo etc. The football activities took the center stage as it draws much participation from different men with our wives as cheerleaders. Also, different men & women participated in sprint races including relay races and those moments are beautiful to watch. Likewise, some are involved in playing ludo where different skills and know-how was on display.
Still about Saturday morning activities, there was a game involving tying of women head-gear by each woman's husband to determine how experienced or good the husbands were and winners were picked based on outstanding performance. There are some funny moments during these activities including goal scoring celebrations, winners rejoicing, couples jesting each other etc. Also, there were refreshments aswell which were served and this made the hangout more fascinating and music was played on the background.
Later in the evening on Saturday, i and my wife attended a couple's dinner which was an annua event aswell and attended by other couples all looking radiant and glamorous. This dinner was a top-notch one as different foods were served based on choice and different activities were carried out which includes couple's dance, games, quizes, toasts and alot of other activities. For me, part of the dinner i enjoyed was a pep talk between me and my wife aswell as the side gisting. Likewise, i enjoyed the grilled/peppered fish served as the first course and the same goes for the main course meal served.
In addition, beautiful pictures were taken by each couple personally and a collective picture taken by the professional photographer employed. Also, there was a movie session where each couple enjoyed an action movie together with pop-corn and various drinks served alongside. It is worthy of note to say that this first experience in this annual couples hangout is really an unforgettable experience full of thrilling moments and a spur to coming for the future ones.
This hangout is a much needed one for me and my wife because it made us relax from our daily busy day-to-day activities and to enjoy ourselves hereby facilitating bondness. I look forward to more of this hangout on weekends and i encourage as many people too as well even singles. I love weekends and i enjoyed my last weekend so very much.
