Sunday, day of rest, which we start later preparing breakfast as a family and with the intention of relaxing and resting, each one to their liking, whether it was watching movies, reading or writing. I was about to cut into pieces a bar of soap that I had made on Saturday.
I had already cut the soap and we are about to sit down at the table, when the neighbor asks for our presence through the fence and asks my wife if we can get the jasmines from the garage, because they collide with his electric fence and it annoys him. Everything bothers her since we demanded that they turn down the volume of her music during a party that lasted a week. It didn't happen again, but relations soured and they don't even say hello.
In search of peace, and after seeing that the lunar phase was conducive to pruning, we got down to work and stripped our fragrant jasmines of their branches.
The work was hard and we ended up exhausted after cutting and carrying the branches, which turned out to our benefit, as some of the more robust branches were already damaging the corrugated roof of the garage.
The work did not end, since in the absence of the wooded trellis we were exposed to their indiscreet eyes and without the protection of the vegetal curtain we could not stop seeing their wanderings, so taking advantage of the robustness of the jasmines we placed an iron tube in which We hang baskets of ferns and other plants on purpose to maintain the insulation without blocking the breeze that refreshes the environment.
Soon the branches will sprout and with luck they are blooming before the year is out, flooding the environment with their intoxicating perfume.
In years of abundance they are covered with white flowers, which the children baptized with the name of popcorn tree.
The Sunday hustle and bustle set the tone for the rest of the week and on Monday while working to reproduce the manufacture of the famous Marsella soap, I had to deliver the gas cylinders to the neighborhood council, for later filling and return them on Tuesday, disrupting the routine usual, in addition to the fact that I went to visit a friend returning on foot, because I had not walked for several days and the sudden excess left me exhausted, so it is today Wednesday that I sit in front of the keyboard and write these lego letters of several days of not posting on #HIVE despite having several ideas in mind.
Very soon our beloved jasmines will be as lush as before and with renewed energy after pruning and application of compost and earthworm fertilizer they will look as lush as those on the other side of the house.
I trust that the story will be enjoyable, despite having been written in Spanish and translated into English using Google, a tool that allows me to understand someone who expresses himself in a different language than mine, but whose experiences and knowledge are of interest to me. We may have very different customs and cultures, but nothing is alien to us. We're all human.
I took the photos today Wednesday to liven up the post with a Redmi 9A phone
Thank you for reading and have a fruitful and satisfying week.
