People who are supposed to protect the child are the once harming them. Sadly it often relatives, neighbours or adults who carry out such evil act.
Protect the both child.
If my child happens to be a victim, the right punishment for perperuator is castration.

This is appropriate for him because the damage does not end with the act itself. The trauma follow the child for a lifetime emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically. So because of the effects, another punishment other than castration, feels painfully inadequate.
So,the perpetuator shouldn't be left freely after serving his sentence, he should also have an everlasting mark that when ever he remembers it he wouldn't put his hands on a child or even an adult without their consent.
I know this is actually a brutal punishment,but it's still not even enough for the actions. I would have say end it all but then again he should leave with the consequences of his actions.
Real life story.
My neighbours daughter was abused and the perpetuator was very influential and wealthy.
The parents arrested him and after some days he was released and the cases just dissolved like that.
Till date it was never addressed, he now move around freely.
That moment changed how I see the world. It planted anger, and a deep sense of helplessness in me. It forced me to question how justice truly works.
Well, i can't fix the system, but I can do everything within my power to protect my children.
I will educate them, speak openly with them and teach them boundaries. I will also help my child understand their bodies, their right and how to recognize and avoid vulnerable situations.
