Hello friends of The Weekend! Today is already Friday but I am going to tell you what I did last weekend that was quite special. I am a night person, I sleep late and get up after 12 noon, always, always have been like this and I am not planning to change it because during the night, which is when I blog, I reach the maximum productivity peaks. Well maybe that's a bit excessive, but I love my schedule. So, my mother is a person with normal schedules who is already in bed at 11 pm and upstairs at 8 am. In general, a normal person on a Sunday wants to spend the whole day at home in bed because there is nothing more boring than a Sunday, and even more so if rain is forecast. So there I was, 11 am sleeping, and my mother walks into my room and wakes me up!!! and she tells me that I should get up because my aunt and my cousins invited us to a "community fair" at these fairs there are different stands of products from different communities and countries. And by products I mean food, and I love to eat. So that call was very well received, I was still quite asleep but I agreed, I prepared myself and we went there.
Here I leave you the photos friend, does that look like a community fair where you can eat food from different countries and cultures? because when I arrived I only saw CARS, TRUCKS AND MOTORCYCLES. You can't eat any of that, right? bad mood invaded my body.
It turns out that it was a fair for old cars from the Argentine industry. Yes, very nice, but I don't know anything about cars. The fair was very nice to tell the truth, and the cars were very striking, you could tell they were old but they were super well cared for. Each car was with its owner and honestly the people conveyed emotion to you because everyone who was there knew what they were talking about, except for me and my mother who did not understand well on the phone where my you were inviting us. My aunt didn't know much about cars either, but it seemed like an interesting activity to do on a Sunday, since it was free and it was close to our houses.
We were inside a shed that belonged to a railway station that used to pass through that place, which is now a multipurpose center in which the municipality carries out different activities and conferences. Didn't know that fact! That day was only for old cars, and in the event they told you the stories of the different Argentine car brands, a little about the history of how the companies began their production in the country and until what year it was held. My mother told me that when she was little it was very common to see this type of truck and that in her memories they were common cars and now seeing them they are really impressive with a very heavy and hard iron. Today's cars are basically made of plastic, they would have nothing to do against one of these "traggers"
I took a picture of these bikes because the funny thing is that they are not bikes! They are bicycles with a pedal motor! they are beautiful right?
a dream come true for us who are a bit lazy
At one point all the cars began to rattle their engines and filled the room with very black smoke, so I fled through the back and that took me to a square that I did not know too, there were also some cars on the street
And then friends among cars, smoke and engine noises a miracle occurred! when we go out we find foodtrucks! where you could buy to drink craft beer, eat shawarma, have ice cream and drink Caribbean drinks. I never felt so happy haha
Nunca me sentí tan feliz jaja
And so my Sunday ended, I was vilely deceived, but in the end I participated in an event that I would never have attended on my own, I spent a pleasant afternoon with my family, I learned a little about car production in my country, I got to know a very beautiful part of my municipality to which I will definitely return, and I ended up sitting on the floor of a park drinking scotch ale beer ♥
