Travelling is a special opportunity to awaken the imagination and to seek new paths for the creative spirit and its universal development. I find myself travelling across the immense Pacaraima savanna from five o’clock in the morning, starting from Boa Vista RR, Brazil, towards the region where Mount Roraima displays its prominent, sacred, and unique landscape—a testament to the beauty of this plant world shared by Venezuela and Brazil. I enjoy it with the lightness dictated by my universal being, because one needs to wander mindfully and in harmony with one's travelling companions along this path, beneath the expanding
immense clouds that blanket the entire sky of the South American Amazon.
The clouds hang high above like eternal balloons. I recognise them because, during the months of December, I came to know them on flights across the vast expanse of the geographical area from Manaus to Uberlândia. What is novel here are the shapes that form over Mount Roraima and the tepuis. The chromatism of the shades of blue and grey offers me a delightful reading that reaches my soul from the coach where I am travelling. I cannot remain anchored to my seat; I walk down the aisle with my smartphone to experience how much beauty I can capture, so as to select the best photographs of this temple of Mother Nature.
The vegetation grants me the opportunity to encounter a small glimpse of the quality and abundance of the plant green of the Canaima National Park in the Great Savanna. I am grateful to make this pilgrimage, filled with such an astonishing spectacle on this unique and very special Saturday of the weekend.
This is the weekend experience that I must showcase from my positive routine along this luminous trail of love for the pictorial, chromatic design of the Amazonian landscape. I admire it from the different spiritual stances of my being, feeling the immensity of this place, rich and vast with the frequent presence of light that bathes the route I follow until my travel programme is complete.
