We drove up to the west coast of Scotland for the weekend, and it is just beautiful up here.
We are staying in Dunbeg, near the coastal town of Oban, and we woke up to a frosty but clear blue skies day.
The garden was looking fantastic in the morning sunshine, with the long winter shadows reaching out across the grass.
The daffodils are starting to come out as well which is lovely.
Even though it was frosty, by mid day it was up at 9 degrees C, which is about the warmest day we've had this year.
Its a fantastic time of year and hopefully its a glimpse of what else March and April have to offer in Scotland.
This beautiful pink flower was also out in bloom - I think its a type of rhododendron, but I'm not totally sure.
There are quite a lot of daffodils in the garden, but only a few have bloomed so far, it will be great when the rest come out, hopefully in the next week or so.
It'll soon be time to start cutting the grass again, and then once April hits, the garden will really start to grow.
Anyway, I just wanted to share how it is here on the west coast of Scotland. Hopefully its great where you are too ! Have a lovely weekend !
