While looking at my pet, I sometimes think that I just want to be like them. Imagine the life of a pet who is always excited to see their owner, and their only role in life is to be an entertainer. But of course, you still need to feed, bathe, and take care of them. They give signs that they love you, but most of the time, all they do is eat and sleep. For me, being a human without any illness or disability is already a huge blessing. But what if I became an animal, what would it be? At first, I thought of being a carabao since it represents hard work. Yet, I think carabaos are designed to work just to survive. But for a dog? I think there are a lot of reasons why I would want to become one.

Only Sleeping

Since I currently have a female dog, I noticed that she sleeps most of the time. That’s what she does from morning until evening. If I had the freedom to do the same, I would do it too. However, I need to work on my passion since I’m currently trying to build a profitable business. I also have free time where I could just sleep and be a couch potato. Still, I choose to grind, and I hope I can earn from it. But if I could sleep up to 18 hours a day, I would definitely do it.

Only Eating

Aside from that, they also just wait for mealtime. Compared to us, we need to work hard just to survive. On the other hand, all they do is wait for their lunch or dinner. I’ve had multiple dogs in the past, and I noticed that they memorize their feeding schedule. For example, once it’s time to eat and they hear the sound of the casserole, their senses immediately react. If I could just wait like that, I wouldn’t mind.

Lovely and Cute

You can’t deny that dogs are very cute. As a dog lover, I enjoy watching their clips, especially when they get groomed or wear costumes. They are also the main niche of my YouTube channel, and I don’t get burned out easily because of them. I love making commentaries about their reactions, even though it takes time and my progress is slow. Whenever I look back at my memories on my phone, I can’t help but be amazed by their cuteness.

Feel Loved With Their Owners

Although I’m not a fan of physical touch, I have an exception for my dogs. We’ve had five dogs in the past, and I always hug them. I’m sure they feel my warmth. They also get jealous whenever I hold another dog. Since I’m not used to physical affection with people, I sometimes wonder how it feels from their perspective. Dogs always feel loved by their owners, and I want to understand how they see us.
